Instagram is going to start hiding likes worldwide. Some people can still see the likes, but eventually it should be gone for everyone.
If you're recreating content or reposting. This will hurt you. As it will be hard to see if a post is viral or not.
But if you understand the psychology of what makes a post go viral to start with you should be able to continue to grow through viral content. You just have to be more creative.
This is a good thing if you understand marketing & prefer to create your own posts from scratch.
It's also better for the sustainability of Instagram as a whole. (Even tho I personally believe they'll bring it back at some point which we don't know yet.)
